September, 2010Sep. 11 (Sat.) - Fifteenth Annual Ongassing Pt. Lobos DiveTime: 8:00 a.m. (gate opens - plan on being there a bit early) Place: Pt. Lobos State Reserve Coordinator: Chuck Tribolet, triblet@garlic.com Cost: $11 per diver plus $10 per car Pt. Lobos State Reserve is one of the finest beach dive spots in Northern California. Entry is walk-in down the (sometimes slippery) boat ramp. It is limited to 15 teams of two divers each per day. Reservations are required two months in advance on weekends. Reservations are limited, so RSVPs are mandatory, and failure to cancel if you can't make it is a capital offense. Parking is in short supply. It is imperative that everyone carpool.
