September, 2010

Sep. 11 (Sat.) - Fifteenth Annual Ongassing Pt. Lobos Dive
Time: 8:00 a.m. (gate opens - plan on being there a bit early)
Place: Pt. Lobos State Reserve
Coordinator: Chuck Tribolet, triblet@garlic.com
Cost: $11 per diver plus $10 per car

Pt. Lobos State Reserve is one of the finest beach dive spots in Northern California.  Entry is walk-in down the (sometimes slippery) boat ramp.  It is limited to 15 teams of two divers each per day.  Reservations are required two months in advance on weekends.  Reservations are limited, so RSVPs are mandatory, and failure to cancel if you can't make it is a capital offense.

Parking is in short supply.  It is imperative that everyone carpool.

After we dive, we party.  See next item

Sep. 11 (Sat.) - Fifteenth Annual Offgassing Party
Time: 4:00 p.m. until ???
Place: Linda's Dive Shack, Marina CA.
Coordinator: Chuck Tribolet, triblet@garlic.com, 408-398-7134 (cell)

After we dive Pt. Lobos, Linda and Chuck will host a party at their weekend condo in Marina (NOT IN MORGAN HILL), which is right on the way back for most people.

Chuck and Linda will supply sangria, gas grill and an ice chest..  Bring whatever you want to grill, a dish to share, and your own drinks.  Families and critters are welcome.

You are welcome to come even if you don't dive. Please RSVP for directions.to triblet@garlic.com
