Its been four years since the last summer games. Join Holly in watching the thrill of victory and cheer on the Red, White, and Blue. In keeping with the theme, bring a dish that is linked to a country- That means anything in the world! Holly will honor the country that is in the heart of early civilization by BBQing a TURKEY. Aug. 23 (Sat.) - Thirteenth Annual Ongassing Pt. Lobos Dive Time: 8:00 a.m. (gate opens - plan on being there a bit early) Place: Pt. Lobos State Reserve Coordinator: Chuck Tribolet, triblet@garlic.com Cost: $6 per diver plus $10 per car Pt. Lobos State Reserve is one of the finest beach dive spots in Northern California. Entry is walk-in down the (sometimes slippery) boat ramp. It is limited to 15 teams of two divers each per day. Reservations are required two months in advance on weekends. Reservations are limited, so RSVPs are mandatory, and failure to cancel if you can't make it is a capital offense. Parking is in short supply. It is imperative that everyone carpool. Thirteenth Annual Offgassing Pool
Party After we dive Pt. Lobos, Chuck Tribolet will host a party at his house in Morgan Hill, which is right on the way back for most people. Chuck will supply swimming pool, hot tub, his world-famous sangria, hot coals, and a Wurlitzer jukebox full of old 45s. Bring whatever you want to grill, a dish to share, and your own drinks.
